not only writes fiction, but she also wrote and co-produced a
documentary on Kansas history that won state and national awards.
Her writing credits include teacher resource books, poetry, short
stories, essays and magazine articles, along with writing grants as
her "other" full time job. Barb enjoys anything creative, so along
with her writing, she likes making quilts, pottery and fused glass.
Although she resides in the Midwest, she loves to travel and finds
that almost any destination can lend itself to a story or be good
research for a future novel.
